Diving & Snorkeling

Spearfishing

Freedive the Sunken Plane
Near Staniel Cay lies a drug runner's plane, now a bucket-list freediving spot. Crystal-clear water, dramatic backdrop, unforgettable photos.
Nurse Shark Encounter
At Compass Cay, docile nurse sharks gather at the dock. Wade in and swim alongside them — completely safe and unforgettable, especially for families.
Paddleboarding & Kayaking
SUPs and kayaks are always ready on deck. Paddle through mangroves, explore shallow sandbars, or just cruise the calm waters around the anchorage. No reservations, no extra fees — grab a board and go.
Do Absolutely Nothing
Yoga on the trampoline nets. A book on the flybridge. Floating in water so clear you can see 50 feet down. Sometimes the best adventure is no adventure at all.
Lift5 eFoil
Fly above the water on the top-of-the-line electric hydrofoil from Lift Foils. Glide silently at up to 25 mph, carving across the surface like nothing you've experienced. Lessons included — no experience needed.
Sublue Underwater Scooters
Two Sublue Navbow+ scooters let you glide effortlessly through the water. Explore reefs without exhaustion, keep up with sea turtles, or just cruise the underwater world in style. Dual propellers, 60-minute battery — pure fun.
A World Beneath the Surface
The Exumas sit on the edge of the Tongue of the Ocean — a 6,000-foot underwater canyon that brings nutrient-rich currents and crystal visibility.

Our onboard scuba compressor fills tanks with Nitrox, so you can dive longer and deeper without coordinating with dive boats or hauling tanks from shore. See a reef that looks interesting? We stop. You dive. It's that simple.
For snorkelers: every anchorage is an opportunity. Sea turtles, eagle rays, reef sharks, and fish in colors you didn't know existed.
The Iconic Experiences
Thunderball Grotto
You've seen it in James Bond films. Now swim through it yourself.
This natural sea cave, accessible only at low tide, opens into a cathedral of light as sun streams through holes in the rock above. Schools of fish swirl around you in water so clear it feels like flying.

Big Major Cay
They're the most famous residents of the Bahamas, and yes — they really do swim out to greet you.
The pigs of Big Major Cay have been here for decades, and they know the sound of an approaching boat means treats. Wade in with them, take photos, and wonder how your life led you to this moment.
It's silly. It's joyful. It's an absolute must.
Swim With Sea Turtles
Green turtles and hawksbills are common throughout the Exumas. Slip into the water with a mask and find yourself eye-to-eye with a creature that's been swimming these waters for 100 million years.
No crowds. No tour boats. Just you and the turtles.
Everything You Need, Nothing You Don't
The charter rate covers almost everything. The only additional cost is the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) — 30% of the charter fee that covers consumables and any special requests. We'll provide a detailed accounting at the end, and any unused APA is refunded.

The Exumas are a chain of 365 islands stretching 120 miles through the central Bahamas. Most are uninhabited. Many are unnamed. All are surrounded by water so clear it looks like the boat is floating on air.
This isn't the overcrowded BVI. There are no cruise ship passengers, no packed beaches, no fighting for moorings. Just you, your crew, and some of the most pristine waters in the world.
Why Staniel Cay: We're based in the heart of the Exumas, within easy reach of every major attraction. The swimming pigs, Thunderball Grotto, the sunken plane — all within a day's sail.
Getting here: Fly into Nassau (NAS), then a quick 30-minute flight to Staniel Cay (TYM). We'll meet you at the dock.
Season: The Exumas are beautiful year-round. High season (Dec-Apr) has the best weather; low season (May-Nov) has fewer boats and lower rates.
This Is Your Week
PurelyBlu isn't a tour boat with a fixed itinerary. It's your private yacht, your crew, your rules. Captain Sammy will suggest, but you decide.
Want to wake up early and chase the sunrise? Done. Want to sleep until noon and never leave the boat? Also fine. Want to visit three islands before lunch? We'll make it happen.
